

The Wenham Tea House is now the Exchange at the Wenham Tea House.
Since 1912 the Exchange at the Wenham Tea House, a jewel in the center of historic Wenham, has operated with pride and success by the ladies of the Wenham Improvement Society for the betterment of the town. A portion of the profits continues to assist the Wenham Village Improvement Society with scholarships and civic improvements.
The Exchange maintains its character and charm at it has evolved over the last 100 plus years.
Emma Roberts, a long time resident of Wenham, oversees the day-to-day operations at the Exchange, which is the country’s oldest continually running teahouse. Emma is also the owner of Capers Catering, an award winning full service catering and event planning company based in Stoneham, Massachusetts. With Roberts’ strong background in the culinary arts, she partners with the Wenham Village Improvement Society to maintain their vision for the community’s center.
Among its appealing features, the Exchange boasts a beautiful dining room serving delicious made to order entrees, a bakery/gourmet shop stocked with baked goods, cocktail foods and to go meals along with a retail shop specializing in unique and exceptional hostess gifts.
With the classic New England feel of the Wenham Tea House, the Exchange at the Wenham Tea House has become a fast local favorite.
